Have Milky White Discharge From Urethra. Pain In Scrotum During Urination. STD Test In Progress. What Could Be The Reason?
Yes, hello. I currently have a milky white discharge from my urethra. I also have some pain in my scrotum and during urination. No sexual activity other than with my spouse... (No infidelity)... I currently have an STD test in progress at a clinic but was wondering what the most common reasons there are for this occurring? Urethritis? Potentially an STD/STI that was dormant? Any home remedies to clean my urethra?
Hello, The most common cause for such symptoms is due to urethritis which is caused by bacterial infection like gonorrhoea or chlamydia. Sometimes non gonococcal urethritis can also cause similar symptoms and the cause in such cases could be due to soap, thrush, spermicides etc. Rarely white discharge could be unprovoked prostate discharge. You need to be investigated thoroughly for finding the cause by getting discharge culture and possible urethroscopy. Thanks
