Have Mild Headache, Constant Ringing In Ears. How To Minimize The Ringing?

I have a constant ringing in both ears and a mild headache all day long. When I wake up, it's the worst, but gets a bit better once I'm up and moving around. It sounds like Tinnitus and understand there's no cure. Is there something you can recommend that would help minimize the ringing? Currently exercise with my IPod or when I shower diverse the focus and give me temporary relief! I can't afford health insurance and just looking for some advice that might help.
Thanks.

Hello

Welcome in H.C.M.

I have gone through your query regarding mild headache, constant ringing in both ears.

Here I would like to suggest you that tinnitus may be as a complication diabetes (diabetic labyrinthitis),Renal diseases , Due to ototoxic drugs etc. if any of theses is in your life that should be accordingly manage.

Beside this there are various diseases of ear itself leading to tinnitus therefore it should be properly investigated by ENT doctor for making diagnosis and treatment.

Till you are in waiting for specialist you may take-

1- Ginkovas (40 mg) three to four times a day.

2- Caroverine (20 mg) three times in a day.

3- Mecobalamine (1500 micro gram) once a day.

4- Hearing aid with tinnitus marker.

In this way you may manage it.

Regards.
