Have Migraines, Headaches, Stabbing Pain. Taken Preventive Medicine Topamax. Reason?

Hi, I have migraines and I take a preventive medicine topamax for them. on tue. I got a bad headached in the back of my head on the right side. like a sharp stabing pain. it was constant in would come like every few mins. I have had the headache ever since and I was nausa for 2 days after that. still really tired and just dont feel well. does this sound like a migraine? I have never experienced one like this.

Hi there, thanks for asking. For acute headaches you can take good medications to abort it. Your doctor can prescribe a good one for you. However, it is good to notice to this point. Sometimes headaches that are different from the usual ones, could be related to a different cause. They could be related to bleeding inside the brain if somebody has hypertension, or if somebody has had a head trauma, etc. Best
