I have been taking Cymbalta 60 mg for 3 years. At one time up to 120 mg. Now on the advise of my psychiatrist I have weaned myself off the Cymbalta over 2 weeks by going to 30 mg and then stopping. He has started me on Wellbutrin XL 150 mg x 2 weeks and then to take Wellbutrin Xl 300 mg thereafter. I suffer from major depression and generalized anxiety disorder which can be overwhelming. Does Wellbutrin XL help both these conditions or only depression. He also put me on Clonazepam 0.5 up to 5 daily (really out of it) and gave me Gabapentin 300 mg at bedtime for sleep and pain. I have severe arthritis in my entire spine and neck along with hip pain. He said that Gabapentin helps anxiety and stress as well, but I thought Gabapentin was for nerve root pain. Can you take Cymbalta 60 mg along with Wellbutrin XL 300 mg together. Heard Wellbutrin counteracts some of the side effects of Cymbalta. Am trying to see couselling at a Mental Health Clinic, but very difficult process to get seen. Thank you very much for your help and advice.
