General & Family Physician Dr. Veera Raghava Rao Buddha.'s  Response
Hi welcome to Health care magic forum. Oral lichen planus is an auto immune disease of un known origin. Allopathic treatment aims at suppression of the symptoms by steroides, anti inflamatories, anti mycotics to prevent secondary mycoticinfections.
Some paatients are heppy with homeopathy and aurvadic medicines.
I also advise you to follow some non medical procedures to prevent exacerbations,as avoid tobacco in any form. Take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses , and sprouts besides other healthy foods to improve immunity and resistance to combat the condition.
Wishing for a comfortable time and recovery and thanks for caling.
