Have Knee Pain. Knee Cap Drifts Off As Leg Is Not Strong. Painful To Walk And Kneel. Remedy?

i have had knee pain for many years now and i'm only 15 i've been to the doctors many times and to physical therapy but nothing really helps. i was told that my knee cap drifts off because my leg isn't strong enough to hold it in place. every once in a while it will get really bad and i've noticed that there is bruising on either side of my knee and its very painful to walk on and kneel down on. i was wondering what i should do and if i should visit the doctors again?
