The culture report would have been related to the bacteria that was causing your urinary tract infection and not to the H pylori infection.

Amoxicillin would not have been effective to treat the urinary tract infection because that particular bacteria would not have responded to it but it is commonly used to treat h pylori.

They are independent of each other.

normally if bacteria are resistent to antibiotic group it is resitant in all places
you must have sensitivity report as there are resistant and sensitive salt list go for sensitive salts according to reports after consulting doctor

Treatment of gastritis induced by H. pylori is usually a combination therapy of two antibiotics and one proton pump inhibitor (PPI) given for about 10-14 days. If your H. pylori is already resistant to amoxicillin, it is needless insisting on giving amoxicillin as they are other combos. Taking only antibiotics alone without including a PPI has already proven not to be successful regimen.
In my clinic, when treating gastric ulcer or gastritis, I usually combine omeprazole (a PPI), amoxicillin or metronidazole and clarithromycin but when gastritis proving difficult to eradicate H. pylori doign a quadruple therapy often prove more reliable i.e combining omeprazole, bismuth subsalicylate, metronidazole and tetracycline.
At the end of the 10-14 days treatment, I will allow my patients to continue taking the PPI alone for next 28-30 days (to enhance gastric healing).
I suggest you see your doctor again for other treatment options.

As you stated that you are resistant to Amoxy , it means amoxicillin drug will not be effective in your body , so this is for all body ,not only for urine.
There is no corelation in the sensitivity and they act independently.
Consult your treating physician and he might change drug according to his treatment.

Amoxycillin is an accepted antibiotic amongst many of the regimens used for treating H Pylori infection. Levofloxacin might have been prescribed for a possible persisting UTI. However, if the symptoms of gastritis persists after completing the course, you may have to consult your treating doctor, who may give you another course of triple/quadruple drug regimen used to eradicate H Pylori infection. You can add a proton pump inhibitor drug like omeprazole, or lanseprazole to your present regimen which may help you more effectively in relieving your symptoms. At the same time, I would suggest you to avoid alcoholic beverages, smoking and eating from outside which is frequently made in unhygienic conditions. wishing you an early recovery.
