Have Heaviness In Head. Have High BP, Partially Blocked Nose, Phlegm. Enlarged Temple. Next Step?
Hi Doctor, I am 33 year old male. I am having heaviness in head for the last 2 weeks. It is present only during daytime and especially when i go out in sunlight and concentrating visually. My BP is a bit on the upper side (140/90) for the last 3 years. I am a light smoker and a few extra pounds. I am also having a partially blocked nose and phlegm . My temple (above eyebrows) is a bit enlarged. Please advise what i should be doing next.
HI I have gone through your mail, as you said you have borderline hypertension for last two years but for last two weeks you have partially blocked nose, heaviness in head specially in morning hours. After listening your problem it seems that you are having most probably sinusitis. To confirm this you are advice to go for (1) X-Ray paranasal sinuses, (2) Culture and sensitivity of phlegm. After this you are advice to contact an E.N.T.specialist for examination of your nose to find out reason of partial blockage of nose clinical co-relation with inferences of investigations to make the final diagnosis and plan for treatment. Thanks.
