Hi and thanks for the query,
it is certainly not advisable to watch the TV very close to screen. IN the case of computers, suing appropriate computer shades is the advise. However, with your past history of migraine, this should actually be the origin of the pain.
Having an idea of your eye/opthalmologic history is very critical in this case. Remember that eye problems could even be at the cause of some headaches which could be likened to migraines. Also, tension, migraine or cluster headaches could be accompanied visual symptoms, but it should much rarer in this case.
My suggestion is you taking an appointment for a proper evaluation and testing. Based on results, an opinion from a neurologist might be sought too, but that should be the starting point.
Thanks and best regards,
Luchuo, MD.
