Have Hard Lump Below Ear. Painless. What To Do?

Hi, about a month ago a noticed a hard lump below about half an inch below my ear and half an inch to the posterior. It's about a inch wide. It's painless and there is not one on the other side. I saw my primary and he said he thinks its just a bone. I've looked at several images of the skeletal system and don't see a bone there. Just wanting to know if I should look further into this?

hello user,
It would have been easy if i can get a pic of the swelling, but as far as i know it might be a cold painless lymph node !!!

It should be cross-examined with another doctor, and if he gives green signal then there is no need to worry !!

hope my info helped you
