Have Had Headaches, Migraines, Tingling. On Toradol, Advil, Tylenol, Imitrex And Dilaudid Injection. Done MRI. Solution?

Hello,
I have had a headache for 4 weeks. Today is day 1 of the 4th week. I have had toradol, imitrex, and dilaudid injections. The injections make the pain go away for a few housr then it comes back once it wears off. I have also had imitrex pills (I have taken them with alieve too) and they don't work. I have also tried Advil Liquid Gels, Tylenol, Advil migraine, and Excedrin. Somedays the pain is worse than others and usually in the center of my forehead. I have had flashing in my right eye twice. My legs and arms/hands tingle at times and fall asleep really fast. I have had a little lose of appetite at times when the headache is really bad. I have woken up with sore throat some days. I feel pressure in my ears at times. The headache was worst the last two weeks, it has lightened up a little. When it isn't a constant horrible/severe headache it usually goes something like this... Wake up with lingering/dull headache and it starts to get worse around noon then progresses and is severe (pain at a 7 or 8) by 6pm. I had blood work done beacuse I have a slightly high blood pressure. The results showed my thyroid was a little high. I have an appoitment for and MRI on my brain and I am also going to see a neurologist. Any ideas?

Hello

Welcome in H.C.M.

I have gone through your query regarding headache for last 4 weeks and you have taken medicines also but the relief is only for a short time.

As you said that you are a hypertensive fellow so there are possibilities for this also. Apart from hypertension you should examine your self by an ENT specialist to rule out sinusitis, and upper respiratory tract infection. your headache is mainly in afternoon or evening hrs therefore ophthalmic examination also becomes necessary.

I hope these above will solve your problem but if any if & but remains than neurological examination will be essential.

Regards.
