Have Had Bouts Of Haemorrhoids, Overweight, Non Smoker. What Is The Permanent Cure?

Hello,

I have had a bout with haemorrhoids on and off - I think it's more than likely due to me being a yo yo dieter and changing my diet all of the time. However, I haven't suffered for several months now, yet they're still there, they're not causing me any problems, so I just checked hoping they had gone, but they hadn't.
My question is, do they ever go away? is there something I can take/do so that they disappear altogether or is this something I need to take to my GP for advice?

I am a 30 year old female, slightly overweight, exercise, non smoker - no other real health problems, but my dad has suffered terrible haemorrhoids in the past.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Hello,
Once you have developed hemorrhoids, they remain there unless and until removed permanently by surgery. However hemorrhoids trouble a person off and on.If a person gets a bout of severe constipation, his problems of hemorrhoid gets aggravated.
Permanant treament of hemorrhoids is surgical removal only, however you can remain comfortable by keeping your stool soft by taking more fibre and stool softeners, drink plenty of water and doing regular exercises.
Thanks
