Have Fever, Infections In Abdomen. Had Miscarriage. Have Removed Uterus. Done Total Hysterectomy. What Is Going On?

Sir, my wife she is aged 25 years and having 03 kids. All three kids were normally delivered. In life she was never operated or hospitalized. Once a miscarriage was happened and lady Dr processed it.
After about one year of said miscarriage she was feeling fever, but fever could not treated normally and in the diagnosis she was detected infections inside the abdomen in lower part. Resultantly the consultant referred her for trans-vaginal-ultra-sound in which the severe infection was detected. Medical surgeon was confused about the location and kind of infection. Because of reported severity of infection and critical position he has to operate her quickly as per his opinion otherwise she may lost her or could not survive. She was operated on 2 February 2011.
During the surgery, surgeon removed the uterus alongwith ovaries (total hysterectomy) therefore she has passed no menses. she is facing complications of stomach disturbance like as stomach pain, gases, non digestion, constipation, swelling etc and she is speedy gaining weight.
She is not sleeping easy in the nights. Feeling uneasy. As per her she does not thinking /depressing about the hysterectomy in her young age.
Sir in the light of above position, will you suggest what for this patient to relieve the complaints and loss the weight.

Hello sir.

I understand your concern and frustration. I somehow doubt some medical malpractice by the first lady doctor who supervised the miscarriage, but I cannot put such allegations without more details on the procedure conducted, etc; but please do not misunderstand me. The only reason why I doubt her is because of such a serious infection coming out of the blue which required a hysterectomy at the age of 25 years? This is absurd.

All the symptoms your wife is experiencing are related to the hysterectomy which has resulted in a drop of sex hormones being prosuced naturally. Please go about a hormone level check and visit a doctor to initiate hormone replacemrnt therapy (HRT).

Sorry to hear about this. Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
