Have exercise induced asthma, had a flutter in chest. Unable to breathe even after using inhaler. Is this asthma ?

Hi! I m a very active 29 year old woman. I am 5 foot 3 and 158 lbs. I have exercised induced asthma . I haven t had many issues with it lately, but I recently felt a flutter in my chest for about 5 seconds. Then I fainted immediately following. After I came to I felt like I couldn t breathe, even after using my inhaler . I felt flush for a long time after. Is this asthma or something worse?
