Have Epilepsy. Prescribed Frisium, Lomo, Zepto, Encorate. Facing Hair Fall, Weight Loss. How Long To Take This Medicine?
Dear Sir,
My having eplipsy since 4 years, which was found during the preganancy of 8 month, According nuro specil, suggestion i took MRI and EEG. it was found normal. Since my wief taken diffent type drug like frisium, lomo, zepto, encorate. as recommended by doctor. Some of the drug gave some side effect like hair falling, wight reducing.. My question is how long my wief need to take mediciene or otherwise is there any permanent solution for elimate the eplipsy.

There is no absolute cure for epilepsy. however, the available drugs when taken and monitored accordingly can make patients after 2 to 3 years of treatment to become symptom free. Cases resistant to treatment will require CT scans and MRIs and might need surgical management. Appropriate follow up is required for specific drug combinations might be needed to obtain symptom free states. I suggest you follow the recommendation drug dosages of your doctor. Avoiding situations or conditions that trigger epileptic seizures are also very important.
