Have Elbow Pain, Diagnosed As Golfer S Elbow. On Diclofenac. Will It Heal?

I went and seen my general practice physician about 3 weeks ago for some elbow pain I have had now for about 4 months. I never went to the doctor because I thought the pain would go away, but it did not. He diagnosed the injury as golfers elbow. He prescribed Diclofenac for the inflammation and gave me exercises to do. I have done those religiously every day 2 or 3 times a day. He told me to do this for a month and it should be better. while it has gotten better, I can tell it is not heeling. Am I being impatient with the recovery or should I be concerned and have it looked at again.

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,
Welcome at HCM.

If you are taking proper precaution to not to lift weight & avoiding screwing movement then this may take about 3 weeks for healing.

If it does not heal even after that then you may ask for local steroid injections .This may be very helpful for you.

Hope you will become healthy again.
