Have Dizziness, Fatigue, Late Periods. Are These Flu Symptoms Or Pregnancy?

I'm dizzy, nauseous, tired, feel like a booble-head, 99.9 temperatre and missed my period. I am 12 days late. I'm on birth control, and my periods are like clock work. I took a pregnancy test. It's negative. I'm going to see my doc for a blood test to be sure. Other than pregnancy-what could be wrong with me? Are these flu symptoms too?

Hi,
Thanks for the query.
As you are on birth control the possibility of pregnancy is less if you used the method according to the prescribed schedule.
The symptoms you are having could be to some infection as you said.
Disturbance in general health can affect the menstrual cycle.
So after consulting your doctor go for blood test as you planned.
If the test comes negative, go for one ultrasound.
If everything is normal you can go for withdrawal bleeding.
Meanwhile take symptomatic treatment.
