Have Dizziness, Chest Discomfort. Checked BP. Taking Losartan Potassium. Can I Lower The Dose?

Hi, I am taking 50 mg Losartan Potassium daily and have been experiencing dizziness and chest discomfort. i checked my blood pressure today and it was 101/51. I feel like i am on too high a dose as I have been feeling like this for a while now. Can I safely lower my dose to a half a pill and begin monitoring my BP?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi
Your blood pressure is on lower side so the dose can be decreased to half and then monitored. I would suggest you get your ECG done once since there can be underlying pathology to your low blood pressure with the symptoms you are experiencing. If your ECG is normal then there is absolutely no underlying problem. Hope my suggestion helped. Please feel free to ask if you have any quarries.
Thanking you
Dr Samir
