Have Disk Rupture. Why Is It Numb? Take Steroids?
sir i have a disk rupture l4-l5 and dcoz of that my nerve is getting pressed causing me lot of pain in my right leg. Also my right feet is somewhat numb. Not excatly fully numb but yes the sensation is different. i have been advised a course steriods viz rhumapred 30 (deflazacort ) + other multivitamins with some course. just wanted to check is this the correct treatment

Yes it is correct. Besides, i recommend you do not sit or stand for more than 45 minutes. Try alternating between sitting and standing. Do not lift heavy weights. When feeling pain you can use Myofen (1 tab after meals).
