Have Discolored Bumps On Thighs Which Isn T Getting Cured

I have a bunch of slightly discolored bumps on my thighs (Im brown so they are a light tan color) . they re in clusters and dont really itch alot. its been awhile and they havent gone away. Some groupings have started turning black on my leg., almost like ive been bruised.

Hi,
Thanks for writing to us.
From the description it seems you could be having keratosis pilaris. Other possibilities could be lichen planopilaris or lichen spinulosus.
Use a good emollient preferably urea based for few days over affected area. Also use a salicylic acid ointment over the lesions. Hopefully in few days, it should resolve.
Please meet your dermatologist for prescription.
