Hi, i get manic sometimes, which causes me to start a project and keep going until my body can t take it. I even forget to eat sometimes; i get really depressed when i finish my project . People think that i tend to over react all the time and that my emotions are out of control, sometimes i m really sad or really happy for no reason. My friends think that i m bipolar, i don t think i am. Thank you for reading

Having alternating periods of "mania" and "depression" can be indicative of a Bipolar disorder. However, there can also be other possible psychological causes for such mood fluctuations, like certain types of personality disorders, etc.
A detailed history and psychological assessment is required to make a definitive diagnosis. ince your problems seem to be causing you a lot of distress, I would suggest that you have a detailed evaluation by a psychiatrist, so that appropriate treatment can be initiated.
