Have Dark Spot On Labia Minora, Looks Like A Vein. Is This The Cause For Concern?

About three months ago I noticed a dark spot on my left labia minora. It is on the outside of the labia minora, the part facing my labia majora. It's not super dark, it looks light brown in color. When I try and take a picture of it it looks very light, but when I look at it with a flash light it looks darker. I haven't noticed any changes in the color, it's not raised nor has it been, and it hasn't changed in size. It's flat and looks like a vein kind of, it doesn't look like any other moles I have. I have read online that it could be because of hormone changes, as I am on ortho tri cyclen lo. Could this be cancer?
