Have Cysts In Both Sides, Done Laproscopy Surgery, Got Period, Used Duoluton. What Now?

hi, my wife is have a cyst in both the sides, we have removed recently through laproscopic surgery. after 10 days she got periods, but that is not stopped upto 20 days. After start using of DUOLUTON tablets periods stopped. know we are planning for pregnancy. we still using DUOLUTON tablets with B complex tablets. we are planning for pregnancy. can you please advise.

Hi Satya,

The cyst once removed from both sides makes the overies active again and they started ovulation and also the hormonal balance becomes good which started the periods. Sometime it happens that period after long time like in your situation persists for long duration. The medication DUOLUTON presribed to you is stop the periods and maintain the hormnonal balance.
I would suggest you to take this medication for few cycles and when your period is regularised than plan for pregnancy. When you plan for pregnancy you have to consult your doctor again to stop this medication.
