Have Cramps In Pelvic Area. Had A Positive Pregnancy Test. From When Do I See Blood In An Ectopic Pregnancy?

I saw my last period on the 27th of august. I had a positive pregnancy test but I keep having cramps in my pelvic area, especially on the right side. This cramping is not accompanied by blood. I hope there s no problem? From what week do you start seeing blood in an ectopic pregnancy . Then I have been farting so much all day, why is that?

Hi,
Thanks for the query.
Your cramping can be due to implantation of gestational sac.
Though the incidence of ectopic pregnancy is rare we cannot rule out the possibility.
Sometimes blood may not come out in case of ectopic pregnancy.
So better to undergo ultrasound which will rule out the possibility of ectopic pregnancy and also confirm the gestational age.
Some amount of indigestion, constipation can be seen in pregnancy due to hormones that may be responsible for your problem. If needed you can go for laxatives with your doctor's advice.
Take care.
