Have Cough, Unable To Breathe And Heart Pounding On Going Down Steps. What Is It?

A few weeks ago I had a major cold, I've gotten over it now, but, three days ago I started coughing majorly, and out of no-where also. I couldn't breathe, I told my friends to go get my something to drink and fast. And even the water didn't help, I barely had enough breathe to tell them. I just get them all of a sudden. You know how when you have run a full track and you can barely breathe. Well I ran through ONE aisle at walmart the other-day, and that's how I felt. Like I just ran a track, without stop. It took me at least half an hour to calm down. And also, I will simply go down ten steps, and I get major pounding in the heart and my heart just goes racing. I don't know what is happening to me. I'm 13.

Hi friend,
Welcome to Health Care Magic

You need examination / may be ECG & X-ray chest also.
Thick mucus plug dislodged from cough and blocking the upper airways – usually does this.
At times, Pneumothorax or an arrhythmia might have been responsible
See a doctor to be sure

Take care
Wishing speedy recovery
God bless
Good luck
