I have constant,severe and disabling pain in the abdomen and sometimes lower back area. The center of the pain is in the right upper quadrant, maybe around the gall bladder area and also in the left lower quadrant. From those two points, the pain roves through the entire abdomen and sometimes radiates to the back, almost as if it is boring a hole through me. Occasionally, I get electric shock like pains in the same two places in the abdomen. That has happened about five times over the past two weeks. The pain is not more or less with movement and it is most intense during the afternoons. It can be a sharp jabbing, boring pain on the right or dull and achy on the left. Sometimes it just simmers waiting to disable me. I have never suffered from indigestion. However, when I eat, the food seems to become stuck in my stomach but eventually with a lot of gurgling and bubbling, eventually passes through the intestines. Occasionally, I get heartburn and I took antacids twice with no relief. I can only eat soft, mashed foods , maybe 1/2 cup and then I am full. once the food passes down, I can have something to drink but have to slowly sip. I always feel full and no appetite. I have vomited a few times BUT only because of the percocet I am taking. No pain meds, no vomitus. No desire for or enjoyment of food. I am bloated and gassy. When I do pass gas, it comes out as if under pressure or escaping from a narrow tunnel. There is constant movement in my belly. Sometimes it feels like gas is moving around and then it pops and begins again. My abdomen is swollen because my pants are tight and not for weight gain. I have lost close to 30lbs since January. Blood in the stools. Never had internal or external hemmorhoids. The blood is not bright red or black. It appears to be part of the stool color. Usually obvious only when I let the stool sit in the toilet water and then it diffuses, changing the water color around the stool. Occasionally, a blood-streaked, white halo-like fluff around the stool. From about March to June, I did sometimes have black, pasty stools that would stick to the toilet bowls. That stopped. Now, I can be constipated or normal from one day to the next. The stool color is either dark or light brown. The blood only started on 8/6. Now, I have a yellowish discharge from my anus. It doesn t pour out. Only when I wipe or appears on my white underwear. Over the past couple days, I have been passing worms in my urine. Three of them so far. Last night, I pulled one up on the side of the bowl and it wiggled back into the water. They swim. They are nothing else. They are worms about 1/4 long. A little bit thicker than a hair strand and cream-grey in color. Due to blood in stool , I flush the toilet before I use it so I can examine the stool in uncontaminated water so I know they are not coming from my well water supply. The water goes through a hi-tech filtration system so I am certain, they came from my urine. I have been to the e.r. 3 times over the past two weeks, my physician and gynecologist but only for the pain and blood in stool. The worms appeared after those visits. CT scan - CT Kidney Stone Study 7/25/2012 Impression: 1). No evidence for urinary tract calculus 2). Hepatomegaly . 3). Status post appendectomy . 4). Diverticulosis without CT evidence of diverticulitis . Lab result interpretations: POSITIVE LEUKOCYTE EST. I have never had a uti in my entire life. I do not have burning or pain in mu urethra. An occasional throbbing over the past few weeks but NOTHING that would indicate a problem. Only the opening to the urethra is now crooked and appears swollen and bright pink. When I urinate,the urine projects out at an angle. No longer straight. I had a prolapsed uterus and bladder in 2006. Had a transvag hysterectomy and bladder repair using a mesh. Second bladder prolapse in 2007 repaired transvag again with a mesh. Now have a moderate prolapse confirmed two weeks ago by the surgeon who also performed a rectal and told me he will address prolapse later on. I need a colonoscopy asap but only said maybe colitis or tumor. I have to wait until 9/5 to see the GI specialist due to insurance reasons. I have a large 1/2 acre pond on my property. It is mostly stagnant. In 2004, after hurricanes, there was no electricity to pump water to the house for weeks. I spent much time wading down in the pond to catch water to flush toilets but didn t pay any attention to the rashes that appeared on my arms and legs shortly after. They developed into itching, open sores that are now healed but have scarred me for life. The itching almost drove me insane. After weeks or months, I could feel things moving under my skin. Since I worked in a hospital, I suspected an infection but the three doctors I saw told me I had scabies and treated me for that. I knew I didn t. It was something else and their treatment didn t work. Eventually, the itching stopped and the sores healed. I looked like I had leprosy but only forearms and knees down to ankles. I wore shoes when I went into the pond. I developed a cough in 2005. It is so bad that it caused the prolapse in 2006 and 2007 and again, now. This cough affects me only when I lie flat at night. No medication helped and am misdiagnosed with asthma since a cause cannot be found. It is not acid reflux or GERD. I asked my cats vet if I could have picked up a worm while gardening in the soil from my cats faeces. He said not possible. Hmmm. I don t have asthma and have no need for the pumps i am given. I do not have ANY breathing difficulty except from coughing for hours at night. Only symbicort maintenance has given me relief. I was told in 2010 that I have pulmonary hypertension but never returned to the cardiologist. I have papules at various points on my body. One at the base of my right palm. One on my left middle finger. One above my ankle. A patch on my nose. One I cannot see but can feel in my nostril. That one has changed the shape of the tip of my nose and the cartilage between the nostrils is now crooked. Each day brings intense and new pain. I will not see the GI doctor until 9/4. One e.r. doctor says I have IBS. Sure, just like the asthma. Bentyl does nothing and I have no diarreah.I don t cramp, only severe pain. Another e.r. doctor says intestinal obstruction.Possible, but no vomit, no fever. I do not have the results of a stool test done last week but can obtain. Doctor, what is this parasite in my urine? I have researched but would like you to tell me. Is there a urine or stool test that one can purchase at the store? Do I need to return to the emergency room stat?
