Have Chapped Lips. Whenever Make Lips Wet, White Skin On Lips Appears. Used Lip Balms, Coconut Oil
Hi. My lips are chapped and whenever I wash my face or whenever I wet my lips a white layer forms up on my lower lip. Each time I wash my face or wet my lips I have to forcefully peel off the skin otherwise it looks real ugly. After I peel off the white skin on my lips it doesn't appear for the next 24~36 hours. If I keep my lips dry then everything looks normal but when I wet my lips a white layer appears. Due to this am not able to go out and eat with my friends/colleagues. I have been facing this problem since last 6~7 weeks and since then I have used lip balms, coconut oil, honey... and the list goes on.. I've also been to few dermatologists even though there has been no use. Please, I need help.
** 1. It could be exfoliative cheilitis. [ because this condition is not a disease, nor allergic reaction to anything or no vitamin deficiency] get an opinion from Dermatologist if not done in previous visit. 2. eat a lot of raw and fresh foods like peaches, grapes, bananas, kiwis, strawberries, spinach, cantaloupe, eggs. 3. mix wax either in ghee, or oil and massage on lips.
