Have Burning Sensation On Penis Head, Took Paxidorm, Recently Operated To Remove Nasal Polyps. What Can Be Done?

I have a burning sensation on my penis head, which at times throbs as well. There is no pain or blood when urinating. I do drink tea continuously at work, and thus urnitae frequently. This burning sensation strated yesterday just after a had take 2 Paxidorm 25mg pills, as I could not sleep. I also recently had an operation to remove nasal polyps, in which I still have no smell. I was given Medrol which help, that after 1 week, the smell will go away. I had 4 Medrol tablets left, and as I just needed to smell again, took 1 a day. Medrol the first time i was precribed gave me a few itchy spots on my penis..

Hello!

Thank you for the query.

Burning sensation in this area is caused by an inflammation due to bacterial (most probable) infection. As there is no other symptoms, urethra inflammation is most probable. This condition has nothing to do with medicines you have recently been taking.
I suggest you to have urine analysis and swab test to determine what is causing the infection. Antibiotics might be necessary in treatment.

Hope this will help.
Regards.
