I have breast cancer diagnosed in 6/2013 have had mastectomy on left side had neg nodes and clear margins tumor size 1.8 cm. I have been taking a 4 cycle of Cyclophosphamide and Taxotere. I have completed 3 cycles and today when I woke up my whole left side of my face was bright red and puffy. Hi, it is very unlikely the medications you are taking to cause rashes, especially over the face. The taxotere can cause fluid retention for few days following its infusion, which can be prevented by oral steroids. it is also the any kidney disease can cause facial puffiness, which needs to be ruled out along with Hypertension and diabetes mellitus. as the redness is only on one side, insect bite also needs to ruled out.So you may have to contact your doctor to rule out these conditions. Hope i have answered your quiries.
