Have been troubled with posterior tibial tendonitis for almost 3

Have been troubled with posterior tibial tendonitis for almost 3 years -- goes away, but returns. Have worn custom made orthotics, a boot, a cast, etc., etc. Nothing seems to help. I'm currently seeing a chiropractor, but not very hopeful. Any suggestions?

I believe I have a mild case of posterior tibial tendonitis. The pain is manageable with NSAIDS, the swelling is minimal and ice feels good. But one other thing is driving me crazy. The inside of my ankle itches like mad. It s kind of a combo of ache and itch and feels good when I scratch the area. Is that normal with this diagnosis?

I ve taken Cipro and Levaquin in the past and have had a posterior tibial tendon rupture that required surgery and tendonitis in both hands with surgery needed on my left middle finger for trigger finger. Could this be happening due to Cipro? My right hand developed tendonitis a couple weeks after taking Cipro in December for an infection. Can I do something to help with my tendons?
