Have Been Taking Famvir And Medrol For The Relief Of Shingles Due To Which Freezing Also Disaapered, Now Reoccurring Again. What To Do?

I was taking Famvir and Medrol for the relief of shingles. To my amazement my freezing and dyskinesia that I have on a daily basis because of Parkinsons disappered. However, when I finished taking the drugs the freezing returned.
Is it possible there is something out there that would be relative for the relief of freezing.

Dear user famvir is anti herpes antiviral drug and there is no medical literature available which shows its beneficial effect in improving muscle rigidity. However another antiviral drug amantadine which is used to fight influenza has been shown to improve symptoms of Parkinson's.
Medrol a steroid is a potent anti inflammatory drug with a long list of side effects. Its withdrawal should be gradual otherwise it may cause some serious side effects.
In your case your symptoms may be unrelated to these two drugs or may be due to steroid withdrawal. I would advise you to consult your neurologist for proper dose adjustment of your anti Parkinson's drugs.
