Have Bad Period Cramps, Stomach Aches. Hurts So Bad. How To Cure The Symptoms?

Hey, I'm 15, & been getting my period since 8 years old.... I have really bad period cramps and stomach aches when I get my period for the first day. It hurts so bad, I cant even walk or eat. I've missed many school days & important events also. Any suggestions ? My mom wont allow me to take birth control to ease the pain.

hi..
you have severe dysmennorhhea, which is causing you to remain absent for the school..
this is a very common problem, and it indicates that you are having healthy ovulating cycle..
you can take simple antispasmodic like mefanamic acid..only during periods..
there is no need to take birth control pill now..
if it doesnot reduce, get one ultrasound examination done and see your gynaecologist..
all the very best..
