hi i was on the implant for 3 years i came off in 1st of october 2012 then went on the pill my last pill i took was 27 of december then i got a period for 3 days in jan im suppose to come on but have not, i took 2 pregnancy tests but came back negative im getting backaches, belly hard and when i push my belly button it hurts what is wrong with me thnx

Hello ma'am.

I hope you conducted your pregnancy test at least 2 weeks after your last sexual encounter. If not, please repeat the test but this time using an early morning urine sample.

Once this is ruled out, you might have to get an abdominal and pelvic ultrasound scan, as this would be the most appropriate investigation in such a situation, after a physical examination.
