Have Acne On Back. Taken Medication. What Is The Cause?

My wife, who is 27 years old, has developed acnes all over her back, but nowhere else on her body. She had this problem earlier once, about 6-8 months back, but after consulting, and taking medication those subsided. Now, they have come up again. Please explain what could be the cause, and the rigth medication for it. Regards, Harendra

hello harendra,
Acne is due to blockage of follicles due to excess production of sebum..most commonly due to infection with propionibacterium acnes ..i advice to rinse the affected area with moderately warm water twice a day and apply clindamycin gel after that..dont take stess,as it increases acne ; drink plenty of water and most important, dnt scratch pimples.
Good Luck
