Have A Tubular Bulging Near The Sternum
When igo to sit up from prone position I just noticed a "tubular" type ridge bulging up where sternum is and is about 6 inches long,running vertical down to. Near belly button. Is is shape of small banana but no curve in it. It is also spongy when pressure applied--soft!! But no pain of any kind, no problems in eating or sleeping and it is not visible when standing erect. What the hell is it. I have put on a good amount of stomach in the past year,as I am on lupron shots and daily cased ex for prostate cancer

I have read the question and from my clinical experince I can say that you should see a doctor, preffrably get an ultra sound abdomen and an X Ray chest. The complaint can be due to either - muscular weakness in that area, or some vascular cause ( the former is more likely as you gave developed fat and weight gain in that location).
A need to see a doctor and get examined is a must, he may finally refer you to a specialist if required.
Does not look to be life threatening but should be examined.

This could be hallucination, in fact in such cases actual clinical examination is needed to confirm the exact complain as you are saying, but I could say that this would turn the hallucination only even after the clinical examination, you better control your thought, keep your stress level low, forget the feeling stop paying attention, I hope this will go way, if you wish, take care and have nice day.
