Hi, I am 19 years of age, male. I have a small lump in my throat left of my adams apple. It moves when I swallow. I am quite thin and unable to put on weight but I've been thin all my life and thought it was high metabolism.
It looks like symptoms of a goitre but I am scared as my sister got recently diagnosed with thyroid cancer.
Could it just be a case of thyroiditis or even graves disease/hyperthyroidism?
My advice is to please consult your ENT doctor for clinical examination and after investigations your diagnosis will be confirm. Lastly according to diagnosis your treatment may be planout.
Regards.
