Have A Bump On The Tongue. Had Pierced The Tongue Earlier. Is This A Serious Problem?

Ok I have had my tongue pierced before but it's been out for over a year. About 3 days ago I noticed a bump on my tongue getting more sore the longer it's there but I have never had this happen before. Today I was look at the bottom of my tongue in the mirror after brushing my teeth and when I lifted my tongue which put pressure on the bump very small amount of what looked like pus came out should I be worried?
