My husband has PSP and at the moment his mobility if getting worse he also seems to have a problem by eating everything in front of him. He is not accepting that here is anything wrong with him. At the moment his speech is gone his swallow is bad his eyes are closing he gets botox for them and I feel in the last few weeks his mobility has disimproved he is having a lot of falls. His Stalivo has been reduced to 50mg would that have a impact on his mobility.
Hello.PSP is a progressive, degenerative neurological pathology with symptoms similar to Parkinson's. Difficulty swallowing, difficulty speaking and difficulty walking with frequent falls are common symptoms of PSP. The drug that you says is widely used in treating Parkison and also in the treatment of PSP. Although the effectiveness of this drug is lower in PSP than in Parkinson's, the dose that your husband are taking now is low. Go to your doctor to assess increasing dose because her husband's symptoms are greater.Improvement is possible with increasing dose. I wish you good health.
