Have Mitral Valve Prolapse. Can I Ride A Roller Coaster?

I have mitral valve prolapse and I have been on a few non-looping roller coaster and have been ok... My husband loves them and a couple who also loves them wants to plana trip to go to Six Flags. When we wen to Disney World on our honeymoon I had heart ains randomly after doing the fastest roller coaster there. I still don't know if the were all in my head. I just want to know what my limits are with mitral valve prolapse.

Welcome to HCmagic.
Since it has not been mentioned that What degree of regurgitation accompanies your Mitral valve prolapse and what other problems are there in your ECHO, I can not comment comment anything with surety. However as a general rule if there is trivial or mild mitral valve regurgitation and there is no other problem in your ECHO, you can take roller coaster (from cardiac point of view).
However if you had some symptoms previously on rides , you may get them again.
