Have Atrophic Vaginitis. Tried Vagifem Tablets. Irritated Labia With Itching. Have Lump In Upper Vagina. Advice?

I am 56 yrs old and have atrophic vaginits. I tried Vagifem tabs for 1.5 months with not much relief. I have irritated labia that itches and stings with soap and vaginal lubricants. I recently have been using Vit E oil with some relief. I have now just felt a lump in the upper posterior aspect of my vagina and I am worried.

Hi,
Due to menopause there is decreasing oestrogen level in blood giving rise to this problem.
You may require hormonal treatment
Apply Oestrogen cream locally.
Consult Gynaec and take advice.
Ok and take care.
