Have AIDS, Dizziness, Restless Legs, Sleeplessness, Neuropathy In Legs. Began Flomax, On Clonazepam,. What Can Be Done?
I began Flomax last month, quit for 2 weeks, & am revving-up again. I'm 65, lots of pain all around, on clonazepam 2 mg./day. Former pharmacy tech. Glad you're here.
I suffered lots of dizziness last month, using Percodan from hemorrhoidectomy; in bed all month.
So I see the relationship using lots of meds. I have AIDS, nonsymptomatic, not.
Neuropathy in feet & legs, restless legs, sleep problems. I'm awake all night on computer. Kind of hermetical life. Sedentary.
What do you suggest in managing dizziness?

You had not mentioned certain things regards your medical history. It will be of use tive more valuable information for your problems.
1.What is your viral load and CD4 count?
2.whether you are on ART?
3. Is there associated Diabetes mallitus?
Possibilities:
a) Anemia due to AIDS or due to drug induced may be a cause.
b) Toxicity of certain drugs can cause dizziness directly or due to certain other toxicity like lactic acidosis.
c) Neuropathy and sleep disturbances also can occur with HIV and due to side effects of ART.
