Has Tonsillectomy, Adenoidectomy. Has Leg Pain, Restlessness. On Lortab. Normal?

hello, my son had a tonsillectomy/adnoidectomy 9 days ago, he is having what i would call restless leg episodes throughout the day and night. he complains of leg pain and starts kicking his legs. this occurs while sleeping and when awake. is this normal? could the Lortab becausing this, or just the pain from the surgery? suggestions? Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The restless legs and the kicking that he is having could be due to an electrolyte imbalance or stress and anxiety related after a surgery. This is likely to subside on its own in next few days.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
