Has The Ear Infection Spread To Cheek And Gum?

Hello, I have had an ear infection and pain in my cheek and throat which my doc gave me antibiotics and drops for. Now the side of my cheek, and area of gum where my wisdom tooth was and my tongue are swollen and I am not talking properly! Are the two things connected ie would the infection have gone down into my mouth?

Thanks for your query, i have gone through your query. The pain and swelling over the cheek could be because of the tooth infection resulting in pus formation spreading to tissue spaces. Consult a oral physician and take a radiograph of the tooth and ruleout the cause. Ylif i am your treating doctor i would have treated you with a course of antibiotics and analgesics followed by extration of the tooth. I hope my answer will help. Ear infection can spread to cheeks but you are clearly pointing out the cause near to wisdom tooth. Do saline gargling.
