Has Down Syndrome. Red Spots On Legs, Thighs, Chest, Back And Arms, Large Welts That Ooze Out. Suggest?

My 15 year old Down syndrome daughter started with red dots (like chicken pox which she already had) a few spots on her legs but mostly inner thighs, a litle where her waist band would be too. No other places like chest, back, or arms. The inner thighs bumps have now merged into large like welts and are oozy (sticky). She says they itch and she now has a 100 degree temperature.

Hello
Welcome to healthcare magic forum.
Thank you for your query.
I understand your concern regarding your daughter's skin problem.
I do not think it has any relation with down syndrome.
It look like she has infection in body and it come to skin also.
It look like skin vasculitis .
She need to take anti histaminic medicine for itching and other medicne specific to her problem .
It is better to consult dermatologist for proper treatment.
For fever you can give her paracetamol.
it will take around a week to have good response.
I hope I answered your question.
Let me know if you have any further query.
Regards
