Has Ankylosing Spondylitis. Severe Headache After Simponi Injection, BP High. Side Effect Of Medicine?

My son has ankylosing spondylitis. He has been seeing a doctor in Houston. After his injection last Thursday, of Simponi, he had a really bad headach. He went for a physical and his BP was 178/106. It has been higher since, even though he has no history of high BP. I called the makers of the meds and it is a side effect. Rare, but still one.
His AS doctor sees no problem. His GP is concerned. We are looking for a very good specialist in this area. We live in SW Louisiana. Houston is 2 1/2 hours away but we will go where ever we have to. What do you think?

Hi, it is the side effect of the drug, and it is to be treated first to be relieved of the headache and hypertension, and the B.P. will go away in 3 days, and the patient should remember the drug and should never take the drug again.
For ankylosing spondylosis, I to my patient prescribe a course of neurotropic injections for 10 consecutive days, and to be continued one injection every weak, to minimise the dose of the pain killers.Thank you.
