Has CAH. On hydrosortisone and florinef. Emergency?

My daughter is 6 months old and has CAH (salt wasting) she is on hydrocortisone qnd florinef. The last 2 days she has been very sleepy and when she is awake she is fussy. I am concerned that her electrolytes have dropped and she may be salt wasting or going into shock. I am wondering if I should go to er or if this is normal with a growth spurt / teething . Thanks kim

Thank you for your query on Healthcare Magic.
The concerning and emergency things in a child with congenital adrenal hyperplasia are:
3.Electrolyte imbalances
As the child is very sleepy, fussy and I suggest you to take her to emergency for clinical assessment to look for the above complications and to treat her accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query.
