Hard, Painless Lumps On Head Since A Kid, Family History Of Lymphoma. Remedy?
Hi doctor, I noticed that my boyfriend has some hard, painless lumps on his head. He says it s been there since he was small and his mom claims that they are moles but she is not 100% sure. I m afraid because his father died in 2006 from lymphoma and I know that cancer can be passed through the genes. The lumps are about 4mm small. I told him to go to go to his provider.
hi
thanks for sharing
yes u r right
cancer has a familial tendency
again u see ur bf had lump over head since childhood and it is persisting in the same way without causing much problems or symptoms......its very unlikely for a lymphoma
though i ll suggest ur bf should have a proper evaluation by doctors
usually lymphoma should not be confined to head only....it ll involve other lymphnodes also in the body along with some systemic features
u needs to have some histopathological diagnosis, if positive then immunohistochemistry and proper staging along with proper radiological evaluation of that mass
for that u should consult a surgeon at first
i think u got my point
thank u
