Hi friend, Welcome to Health care Magic forum..

I read your query and I like to inform you that values should be measured against your previous hair profile and your ethnic & familial traits.
I am telling you the interpretation of this study with regards to average indian ratios... It would be best to co-relate the results with clinical findings.
Your average hair density is 179.6 as against average of 200/cm2 but still with in normal range of 170-220/cm2.

With telogen effluvium, the anagen/telogen ratio has been shifted to 70% anagen, 30% telogen.

This kind of study with supporting clinical data would represent telogen effluvium. Since you are suffering from last 6months, I would diagnose you as a case of starting stage of telogen effluvium.

I advice you to eat protein rich foods with good vitamin rich foods to decrease hair fall at earliest.
Avoid stress in life , be relaxed by meditation or relaxing techniques.

Hope I Provided useful information.
Best Regards,

Hi Doctor, I have recently starting to notice my hair looking thinner on one side of my head. I have read online about some reasons why this might be, stress, hormonal imbalence etc. I am taking the pill, Microgynon 30, but recently have not been taking it correctly. Could this have created a hormonal imbalence which may cause hair loss? Also what other reasons might be causing it? And what could I do to stop it?

Hi Doctor. I am 35 and loosing hair very fast. I am at a very interesting stage where I feel a need to act fast.Researching options online lead to so many confusion. I do not like the idea of hair transplant and wanted to see what can be done otherwise.I have recently purchased Alpecin shampoo. However, lot of articles refer to regaine (minoxidil). I am thereby not sure what path to follow. I have also come across clinic which claims a cure to baldness with a commitment of 150 to 200 dollars medicines per month. All review seem great.I would really appreciate your insight and help with the topic. Kind Regards.Aman.

Good Day, I desperately need your help please. I use to have healthy long hair but that changed in the past year when I started loosing a considerable amount of hair...and I mean loads of it. Now my hairline is non-existent and my central hair area has hairless patches due to hair loss. This has been causing me a lot of stress and have no idea what to do! I have consulted a homeopathic doctor and he gave me R89...said I should take 15 drops (in my mouth) 3 time a day before meals...please advise if this is an ideal medicine and which other over the counter supplements, foods & shampoo/moisturizers can I take/use to speed up the hair loss remedy process. I am an African lady, 31y/o, with naturally afro hair (well, the little that s left of it). Also, I have been on low carbs/no sugar & salt diet and have been taking Duromines for the past any of the a catalyst in this hair loss problem? Please help...this problem is starting to affect me badly. Kind Regards, Balding Anonymous
