My hair is coming out in golf ball sometimes larger sized clumps. I have thick, curly hair and have always "shed", however recently in much larger amounts. I notice that around my ears and above my forhead my hair seems to be thinning and receding, which has never happened before. Also, some of the area have spots that are extremely short hair, like it is breaking close to the root , ie not completely balding. I gave birth to my 3rd (and last) child about 4 months ago. I had polyhydraminos, was induced 2 days before my due date and a hemmorage after I gave birth. I am assuming it is some sort of alopcia, but am unsure how to stop the hair damage and balding. I would really like to find a way to prevent or slow the process down. I am not opposed to medications, however, I prefer to try a home remedy first. Can you give me any suggestions.
