Haematoma On Calf Muscle, Pain On Walking, Bruises Around Ankle. Taken Aspirin. Normal Symptoms?

I am pretty sure I have a hematoma on my calf from my large dog running in to me. It was very painful to walk and felt like a pulled muscle but there was a knott. The bruises did not show up for several days and now a week later there is bruising around my ankle. Is this normal.I take an aspirin a day as well as metroprolol. Thanks

Hi,
Thanks for posting your query.
You should keep watch on the size of hematoma and see the status of recovery.
If size is increasing then you should consult with cardiologist and stop aspirin for few days.
You should also go for x ray of the affected limb and color Doppler if required.
Take care,
Get well soon,
